Defines and executes finance strategies through financial analysis/reporting to strengthen company operational performance, achieve competitive returns and support the company's strategic goals. Assesses financial plans and provides key financial data to support the company's strategic and operational goals. Develops and communicates strategic business unit recommendations supported by financial analysis to senior leaders and other stakeholders. Positions the company for success through strong financial management.

Leads business unit financial reporting and budget analysis functions providing leadership and direction to the Financial Planning and Analytics team across the organization
Responsible for business unit profit & loss and ensures team is invested in positively influencing the financial situation of the organization
Develops financial and business performance recommendations to senior leaders, Board of Directors and Sponsors through development and evaluation of company level financial data against performance objectives
Forms operational/strategic recommendations based on complex financial analyses for business plans that support new and expanded business opportunities and growth
Provides management & strategic direction to the business unit. Participates with senior leadership in developing and authorizing business plans
Strategically develops and implements fiscal plans involving operational budgeting, long range financial planning, cost accounting and financial analysis
Consults on long-term financial impact of strategic decisions
Interfaces with senior leaders, BOD and Sponsors to provide financial strategic decision support, drive growth and seek improvements in operational processes through financial best practices
CPA, MBA or Master's Degree with outstanding academic qualifications required
10 years of proven leadership experience and/or Corporate/Investment Banking experience
Experience making investment and strategic recommendations to senior leaders and Board of Directors to support company's business goals
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional skills in financial analysis, budgeting and resource planning
Experience handling a $100MM business
Experience handling finance for a business operating in the US and EU
Thrives in a fast-growing atmosphere in which finance plays a consultative, enabling role for the business
Views finance having the same creative and problem-solving capabilities, and responsibilities, as any other business disciplines and endeavors to find appropriate finance and accounting structures to support business in new ventures
Deeply analytical and quick study of business mechanics in an effort to make business more efficient
