Staff Accountant
Our client is currently seeking a Staff Accountant.
Position Description:
Position Description Staff accountant to assist with work in the financial reporting department including ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Assisting with month and quarter end close activities -Account reconciliations -Posting journal entries -Reconciling intercompany accounts -Government statutory reports -Physical Fixed Asset counts at various off site locations (local travel required) -Act as main contact with 3rd Party for monthly reporting and true-ups Requirements -Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Accounting) -2-5 years public or private accounting experience -Must be able to work independently and with a team -Knowledge of Oracle or SAP a plus Additional Details:
Strong attention to detail Communication is key, this position will interact with many business groups, must have a solid personality and not shy away from interaction Ability to do intercompany reconciliations very transactional job.
Travel-light travel maybe requiredlocally and possibly Canada and Ohio.
Looking for someone who has room to grow, no more than 4-5 years' experience Degree required Oracle a plus Pharma not required, but large company experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
