Recruit and train new Mortgage Loan Officers at the direction of the SVP, Mortgage Operations. Manage Loan Officers in business development activity. Train Loan Officers to Originate to Residential lending policy of Firstrust Bank.
Manage to an agreed upon volume and profitability budget.
Ensure sales team is completely up to date on compliance guidelines as well as all Investor guidelines.
Provide assistance to the Loan officer to ensure all applications are sent to the Processing area in a timely fashion.
Actively solicit mortgage loans business from external loan sources such realtors, builders, financial advisors, accountants, etc.
Actively solicit mortgage loan business from internal loan sources such as Relationship Managers, Business Development Officers, and Private Banking.
Always exhibits and shows support of both the Mission and Core Values of Firstrust Bank.
Ensure daily compliance with all federal (Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404) and state regulations.
Perform other duties in the normal course of business as directed.
