Recruit and train new Mortgage Loan Officers at the direction of the SVP, Mortgage Operations. Manage Loan Officers in business development activity. Manage to the budget in terms of volume and profitability. This position is challenged to meet loan production goals ensuring the quality standards and compliance requirements are met.

Recruit new Loan Officers to Firstrust Bank.
Train Loan Officers to Originate to Residential lending policy of Firstrust Bank.
Manage to an agreed upon volume and profitability budget.
Ensure sales team is completely up to date on compliance guidelines as well as all Investor guidelines.
Provide assistance to the Loan officer to ensure all applications are sent to the Processing area in a timely fashion.
Actively solicit mortgage loans business from external loan sources such realtors, builders, financial advisors, accountants, etc.
Actively solicit mortgage loan business from internal loan sources such as Relationship Managers, Business Development Officers, and Private Banking.
Always exhibits and shows support of both the Mission and Core Values of Firstrust Bank.
Ensure daily compliance with all federal (Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404) and state regulations.
Perform other duties in the normal course of business as directed.

This position is challenged to meet loan production goals ensuring the quality standards and compliance requirements are met.
o A complete understanding of residential lending from origination through closing/delivery
o Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills
o Strong technical skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
