This position is in Arris Global Supply Chain in the Business Operations group. The Business Ops Analyst reports to the Director of Global Supply Planning. They are responsible for ensuring supply support for Arris customer orders to support revenue goals at planned cost.

Revenue attainment
On Time Delivery to first supply commit & customer request date.
Inventory (turns) targets
E&O Targets
Expedite charge targets
Key
Responsibilities:
Set up parts and manage Supply parameters in Oracle for assigned parts.
Manage supply commits for assigned supplier to meet demand requirements.
Issue and manage purchase orders to assigned suppliers to meet supply commits.
Identify, escalate, and resolve supply de-commits and shortages to demand forecasts and open backlog.
Operational liaison to assigned supplier managing material requirements communication.
Collaborate with NPI OPs, Order management, demand planning, EMS OPs, etc to meet organizational goals.
Other responsibilities may include:
Driving root cause analysis and process improvements in assigned area and potentially across supply chain to optimize OTD, Inventory, E&O, and other metrics.
Required Skills
Basic
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 3
years business experience
Required Experience
Familiarity with Production Planning and related concepts such as BTO/ CTO/ SOI/ SMI/ RBF
MS Office experience with demonstrated proficiency in Excel
Willingness to work flexible hours
Strong troubleshooting ability
Some knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle a plus)
Analytical mindset
Ability to multi-task
Good communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams and organizations in a global (often virtual) work environment
APICs Certification a plus
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus
