State pharmacy tech license as required
National certification preferred

Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days
Responsibilities:
Enters data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement/payment, utilizing knowledge of drugs, medical nomenclature, and the metric system
Reads and inputs written prescriptions and medical data, including performing drug calculations and interpreting physicians' orders into the computerized med. order system
Performs computer system operations which may include order entry, billing, crediting, and updating medical records
Inputs daily orders (new and refills)
Audits the input versus documentation and makes corrections as required
Generates reports as needed
Identifies and resolves issues of denials or follow-up of claims, by maintaining current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes
Participates in orientation, training, competency assessment, and evaluation of Pharmacy Data Entry Technicians
May enter IV medication orders into medication order system
Performs Pharmacy Technician duties as required
Performs other tasks assigned
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; National PTCB Technician Certification desired
One year experience in data entry in a long-term care pharmacy
Ability to communicate effectively, work as a member of a team, recognize and identify patient medications
Skilled in operating a computer
Skilled in performing detailed work
Knowledge of Medicaid claims regulations and processes
As required by state, technician licensure or certification in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas
Possess Communication, Initiative, Problem-solving, Team Orientation, Leadership, Detail-orientation skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
