Project Development Lead I

Insight Global is sourcing for a Project Development Lead for a large energy management company located in Lenexa, Kansas.
This position falls within the Public Sector organization, which focuses on contracting projects across the Mid-West region of the nation.
This candidate will be joining a team of 20, consisting of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and energy engineers on the Project Development team.
This candidate will work closely with the Client, Sales team, Sponsors, and the Development team to identify the project objectives and the strategy on how the team will execute the plan.
The Project Development Lead must be familiar with the industrial industry, and has previous experience working with education systems, and municipal and county governments.
This candidate will be responsible for developing project proposals to maximize the operations with the team, and submitting the bid to the clients.
This role requires about 25% of travel throughout the year to client sites and to the office.

o Certified Energy Manager certification LEED Accreditation:
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering o 4-6 years of professional engineering or project management experience o Previous experience in an ESCO industry:
Energy Service Company o Knowledge of energy performance contracts within education systems or municipal facilities o Proficient with Microsoft Office programs or Primavera/Procore o Professional Engineering License:
Engineer-In-Training or Energy Management Professional certification o 25% travel required per year to client sites and office location Recommended Skills Contract Management Electrical Engineering Energy Technology Engineering Leed Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
