The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the processing of invoices, disbursements, expense vouchers and electronic payments.
A Day in the Life of an A/P Specialist:
Process invoice, disbursement, expense vouchers and electronic payments Work in capture portal to ensure the accuracy of electronic invoices and making sure they feed correctly into our accounting system Match freight bills to shipments to ensure the accuracy of the bill and prepare for payment Assist with various department and organization special projects as assigned Requirements of the A/P Specialist:
Minimum 3years of responsibility in accounts payable Experience with ERP systems and related controls, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Associate degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited University Must be analytical and have general ledger accounting experience; work experience with journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft office packages with Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel EOE employer.
